The Farenetwork is making available €100,000 in funding to ethnic minority groups,or those working with ethnic minorities, as a means of supporting social and sporting inclusion.
The grants will be launched on the 15 September through an open call with an ongoing process that will be open for applications until 1st August 2015. The process will involve working with Fare staff who will help to shape projects in accordance with the guidelines.
The grants will seek to demonstrate the role that football can play in helping overcome exclusion of minority communities through direct participation, coach education courses or small-scale research.
The call will focus on projects that address ethnic minority women, Roma communities and ‘new communities’ such as refugees and asylum seekers.
Further details available on the 15 September 2014.
